Privacy Policy
Introduction
Organic Garden S.A.S. (“Organic Garden,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a Colombian grower and exporter of certified-organic fresh herbs. Although we are established in Colombia, visitors, customers, and suppliers from the United States interact with our website. Because the United States still lacks a single, comprehensive federal privacy statute, we base this policy on the sector-specific federal rules that do exist—primarily the Federal Trade Commission Act (“FTC Act”) Section 5, which prohibits unfair or deceptive practices—and we voluntarily adopt core consumer rights found in recent state statutes (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado) while Congress debates the proposed American Privacy Rights Act (“APRA”).
Scope
This policy applies to all personal information we collect through our website, affiliated contact forms, e-mail, and social-media channels, whenever the individual is located in the United States.
